About Warren & Laetitia

Warren & Laetitia are two passionate French designers who met during their design studies. In 2019, they decided to start a studio together in the 20th arrondissement of Paris. Since then, they have been working full-time on their joint project, focusing on experimentation, functionality, and aesthetics.

Their designs often start with everyday objects we normally overlook. By reexamining these objects, they discover new possibilities. Three principles guide their work: modularity, adjustability, and appropriation. Each object is designed to adapt to the user, not the other way around.

This approach is evident in their renowned Double Top & Bottom candle holders, which can hold either a dinner candle or a tealight depending on how you place them. These are objects that can be rotated, combined, and customized for repeated use. In addition to candle holders, Warren & Laetitia also design lamps and other home objects, always emphasizing simplicity, color, and clever functionality.

3D-Printed Production

Warren & Laetitia design and produce their objects in their Paris studio, with 3D printing playing a central role. The printers are used not only for production but also as design tools. By experimenting with form, structure, and technique, they create objects optimized specifically for 3D printing.

Each product is printed layer by layer, then carefully finished and assembled in their atelier. By keeping the entire process in-house, they can produce small series, test rapidly, and continuously innovate. Assembly, packaging, and labeling are all done in Paris.

For their lighting products, they collaborate with ESAT de la Bièvre, a social workshop where people with disabilities assist in assembling the electrical systems. This gives the production process a social dimension as well.

Materials

Sustainability is a key focus for Warren & Laetitia. They work exclusively with recycled and recyclable materials sourced from France and Europe:

• r-PETG (recycled PETG): Made from recycled plastic bottles, with an average of 79 bottles reused per kilogram. Objects made from r-PETG can be recycled five to six times using the same 3D printing process, making it highly circular.

• r-PLA (recycled PLA): Made from recycled food packaging, r-PLA is a bioplastic derived from natural materials. It is recyclable, biodegradable, and industrially compostable, breaking down into water, CO₂, and harmless residues under the right conditions.

In rare cases, virgin PLA is used to avoid shortages, but the focus is always on recycled and reusable raw materials. Through these careful material choices, Warren & Laetitia combine innovative design with a low environmental impact.
