Hello, nice to meet you! My name is Daan Smulders, founder of Davinis and someone with a passion for unique objects.
I love discovering pieces that not everyone has, objects with a story, character, and their own design. I prefer choosing something I genuinely find special rather than going for a well-known name.
That interest goes beyond just products. I have a strong passion for entrepreneurship and creativity, for people who dare to build something from their own vision. People who, despite uncertainties and challenges, choose to create something they feel is missing or simply something they find beautiful.
That combination led me to the work of young designers, creative makers who bring something unique to life through their own perspective and energy. However, I noticed that their work is often hard to find, or can feel inaccessible to a wider audience. And that’s a shame, because I believe many more people could enjoy these unique designs.
That’s why I started Davinis:

I help you discover pieces you won’t find everywhere. Not mass-produced, but truly unique, created by designers with their own vision. This way, you can give your interior a personal and distinctive character.
Mission 2: Help designers find you
My goal is to make the work of emerging designers visible to a wider audience. In doing so, I help them grow and ensure their creations receive the attention they deserve.

Davinis is a brand that brings together unique interior objects from emerging designers in one place. We carefully select distinctive pieces with character, making it easy for you to discover design you won’t typically find in standard home stores.
What kind of products does Davinis sell?
Davinis offers unique interior objects from emerging designers. We focus on decorative pieces such as table lamps, vases, and wall decor, items that truly add character to your interior.
How does Davinis select it's products?
We work directly with emerging design studios that design and produce their own work. We carefully select pieces that align with the vision of Davinis. This way, we bring unique design together in one place and make it easier to discover.
What makes these products special?
All products are created by independent designers who work from their own vision and creativity. No mass production, but small batches or unique pieces with attention to detail, story, and design. You’re bringing something into your home that not everyone has.
Where are the designers based?
We work with emerging and independent designers from across Europe. Each product page clearly states where it was designed and produced.
Why should I buy through Davinis?
Davinis makes it easy to discover unique design in one place. You’ll find carefully selected pieces without having to search through multiple individual studios. You can also combine products from different designers in a single order.
Can I also buy directly from the designer?
In some cases, yes. While some designers offer their work directly, others exclusively sell through platforms like Davinis. What matters most to us is that you discover the work and that designers reach new people who appreciate what they create. If you buy from us, we and the designer are ofcourse very happy.
Are the products sustainably made?
The designers we work with place a strong focus on sustainability and product longevity. All products are made in Europe, often by the designers themselves, under fair conditions. They use high-quality, durable materials, and many products are recyclable at the end of their lifecycle.

Do you have the products in stock?
Yes, all products ordered through our website are shipped by us from our own stock. This allows us to ensure a fast and careful delivery, without long production lead times.
When will I receive my order?
- For the Netherlands and Belgium, delivery typically takes 1–5 business days.
- For the rest of the EU, delivery usually takes 4–10 business days.

Can I return a product?
Yes, you can return your order within 14 days, provided the product is unused and in its original condition. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Go to return page for more information.

Can I see a product in real life before buying?
Yes, in parts of the Netherlands and Belgium we offer a service where I bring the item personally to you, so you can view it in your own interior. If you’re interested, please contact us via the delivery service page.
